Formative and Summative Evaluation of the Overall Project

Normally, the reporting of an evaluation study would commence with a detailed description of the project being evaluated in order to ensure there is a common understanding of the project and to provide an appropriate context for the remainder of the evaluation report. However, in this case, a comprehensive description of the project has already been provided in the preceding chapter. Furthermore, Chapter Three provides an overview of each individual technology-based teaching development project, followed by a comprehensive collection of the evaluation study reports. In addition, the project has produced eight research articles submitted for publication in a special issue of the Australian Journal of Educational Technology. Readers interested in learning more about these projects should consult this forthcoming publication.
